Eminence Capital, LP, founded by Ricky Sandler in 1999, is a global asset management firm that for 25 years has focused almost exclusively on bottom up, fundamental long and short stock picking.  Firm AUM is ~$6.9 billion and Eminence offers three global equity strategies that each draw on the same team, investment process, and idea generation:  Long/Short, Long, and Alpha Extension/150×50.

Ricky Sandler serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer, leading a team of 20 investment professionals all located in New York City including eight Portfolio Managers who have been at Eminence on average for thirteen years.   The team is responsible for identifying and researching ideas across a broad range of industries and geographies.  Eminence primarily invests in publicly traded global equity securities with the expectation to own the security for several years.  For long investments, the team seeks to identify quality, durable businesses with stocks that are mispriced by the market and that are likely to undergo a positive change in investor perception. For short investments, the team seeks to identify low quality businesses with mispriced stocks that are likely to undergo a negative change in investor perception.
